Instructions for proper sharpening
In order to sharpen the hoof knife, pull the inner side (cutting edge) of the blade along the entire length of the sharpening steel several times. The cutting edge should be moved along the sharpening steel at an angle of 15-20°. After that, remove the burr by running along the outer edge of the blade with the sharpening steel once.
